Gordon attends Armed Forces Week events in Blackpool

Forces_Collage.jpgGordon paid tributes to the Armed Forces, attending a series of events in Blackpool for Armed Forces Week, which has now become a regular part of the town's annual calendar.

Gordon, who is the Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Veterans, has a close connection to the Forces with both his father and grandfather serving in the Merchant Navy.

There was lots going on in St John's Square with live music and displays, as well as on the Promenade, for people of all ages to find out more about the Armed Forces.

He also attended the special service at the Fylde Memorial Arboretum and the Gala dinner at Norbrek Castle, which were both organised by the Fylde Ex-Service Liaison Committee.
